Current Park Closures, canceled or postponed events
Clarksville Parks and Recreation is working with local public health officials to closely monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19). To ensure the safety of the public, the Department has closed certain facilities until further notice.
City parks and trails are currently open, providing a place for people to recharge and enjoy the outdoors. Social distancing is recommended as you enjoy our natural areas.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at email@example.com or 931-645-7476.
Billy Dunlop Update
With the level of use this facility regularly sees this time of year, we recognize the challenge of enforcing social distancing at Billy Dunlop Park. We are just as anxious to open the park to full use as you are to access the boat launch, fish and swim in this beautiful natural area. The continued closure will not only protect our patrons from exposure but allow our newly planted reparation buffer to grow and heal the eroding riverbank. As soon as we are able to phase in this facility to our reopening plan, the Department will issue a press release and notify our followers on social media. Thank you for your patience. We look forward to opening this park to full use in the coming days.
Please keep in mind, while Billy Dunlop is closed, boat access up river at Robert Clark Park will also remain closed.
