Mission
The Clarksville Police Dispatch’s mission is to strive to deliver the highest level of professional service to the public, police officers, firefighters, and external agencies. We will carry out this function with the highest standards of integrity and performance. Our quality training will ensure accurate records, timely service, courteous and immediate responses.
Operation & Staffing
The Clarksville Police Dispatch Division began operation in January 1, 2004. It is a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week liaison between the citizens of Clarksville, Montgomery County E911 and the Clarksville Police Department. It is staffed with:
- Dispatch Director
- Quality Assurance/Training Coordinator
- 3 Shift Supervisors
- 29 Full-Time Dispatchers
The Dispatchers are certified in:
- Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO)
- Fire
- National Crime Information Center (NCIC)
- National Incident Management System (NIMS)
- Police
Operation Systems
They operate state of the art Motorola radio system and TriTech Computer Aided Dispatch system. The modern equipment enables the dispatchers to provide efficient and instant information to the responding units to assist the citizens of Clarksville with their emergency or non-emergency needs.
